All Around Team Effort Guides Minors Typhoons to Victory Over Cardinals

Minors Typhoons 19 – 1 Cardinals

Natalie Wang threw 3 scoreless innings to lead the Typhoons on another warm sunny afternoon. Luke Feller, Natalie, and Liam had 2 hits apiece and combined for 9 RBIs.

Osborne and Franklin also had hits while John, Youjia, Luke McDermott, Ben, Kiera, and birthday boy Luke Xu each reached base twice.

Natalie was especially locked in to the strike zone as she cruised through the Cardinals lineup striking out 7 while allowing only 1 hit.

Luke F came on for a quick 4th inning highlighted by some fine fielding at first by Luke M. Defense was sharp on the day highlighted by a long throw from outfielder Luke M to 1B Luke F to Catcher Franklin whose quick tag caught a runner at home in the top of the 2nd inning
