Typhoons Getting the W

Minors Typhoons 12 – 2

The Minors Typhoons notched one up in the win column this week. Playing behind the stellar pitching performances of Natalie Wang and John Sweeney, who combined for a no-hit four-inning performance, the Typhoons won 12-2.

#18 Franklin Karnitz Checking for the Strike

The bats came alive against a young Aliens Blue squad. Luke Feller continues to bat 1.000 on the season. Liam McDermond got the team fired up with our first home run of the season. Franklin Karnitz’s bat came alive with two doubles.

First-year minor Luke Xu got in the hit column with a solid line drive to right field. A good sign of things to come were the massive improvements in the fundamentals of baserunning. Next week, the Typhoons look to climb back to 0.500 with a game against the Dodgers.
