TTBC Juniors Eagles Stretch Their Wings and Soar Above the Phoenix

TTBC Juniors Eagles 21 – 4 SSPBC Phoenix

The TTBC Eagles Juniors were firing on all cylinders on Saturday as they defeated the Phoenix 21-4 at Lion Rock 1.

Andes Chai came out of the gates with a BANG and went yard, hitting a solo home run that went about 305 feet, which was well past the barriers in left field, to put the TTBC Eagles Juniors on the board first.

In the top of the second inning, the TTBC Eagles Juniors extended their early advantage after Charles Tian made it home to score with a few errors made by the Phoenix.

But in the third inning, the TTBC Eagles Juniors came out to play. They scored eight runs, with various Eagles coming home. Overall, Eagles hitters did well, with Ryan Lem going 2-for-5 with three RBIs and Roy Son going 2-for-2.

Ryan Kim started the game on the mound for the TTBC Eagles Juniors. Over two innings, the starting pitcher allowed one hit and zero runs while striking out four and walking none. Ryan Lem pitched one scoreless inning before Gabriel Gusak and Roy Son came in to finish off the game.

A big shout out to Yongdae Kwon for playing in his first game. As this is his first year playing baseball, he is always hustling and learning something new at every practice. Well done, Yongdae.

Next Saturday, the TTBC Eagles Juniors will host the always-feisty TTBC Patriots Juniors – see more information on the Calendar page.
