TTBC runs almost entirely on volunteer power! We need moms and dads not only for coaching but also for scorekeeping, umping, organizing tournament logistics, updating the website and more.

Please have a look at the categories below and contact the appropriate person if you’re interested in helping. If you have other talents you want to contribute, please tell your child’s coach!

Coaching

Each team has a head coach and assistant coaches. All are volunteers. If you’re interested in coaching, please contact Rich Waag richwaag1@gmail.com. Special shout out to you MOMS!

Tournaments

TTBC travels to several tournaments during the year. These trips are wonderful bonding experiences for the players, not to mention the coaches and parents. The trips require securing group rates at hotels, organizing team buses to and from games, score keeping and more. If you’re willing to help with any tournaments, simply contact your player’s coach.

Umpiring

TTBC uses some paid umps. However, each game requires additional umpires. If you’re willing to act as umpire, there are classes available so you can learn the ins and outs, so to speak. Please contact your child’s coach if you’re interested.

Score Keeping

So much more effort is put into Scorekeeping now.  With the use of the GameChanger app AND manual score keeping, the kids and parents can keep track of all their stats and follow games and get live updates!  We need parents to help out so those that cannot physically be there won’t miss out on the action.  This is a valuable asset for those parents who travel and miss out of games.

Photography, Video and Social Media Sites

Social media is all about keeping the world informed.  We need a lot of help to setup videos, work on clips and post to sites. This website is a labor of love. If you have any tech or creative skills to spare, please email Scott Shapiro at scottshapiro@hotmail.com. We want to keep the site fresh, fun and up to date!

Annual Fundraiser

The money we raise each spring at this annual dinner and auction supplements your annual fees. The money raised covers field fees, professional umpire fees, special guest coaching sessions, and much more. To pull off this major event, we need people who are good at party planning, designing promotional materials, drumming up sponsors and selling lucky draw tickets. If you can do any of those things — please help! Please contact your child’s coach if you’re interested.

Thank you!
