Majors Typhoons Take a Big Win over the JBC Buffaloes

Majors Typhoons (1-0-1) get in the win column for the first time this season after manhandling the JBC Buffaloes (0-2) by the score of 22-4.  

The Typhoons offense opened up with seven runs in the top of the first led by the top six batters in the lineup collecting a hit. George Hosford with a 2 RBI double, Fred Fu with an RBI double, Aaron Lee with an RBI single, Nicky Artman’s RBI single, and Logan Xu’s RBI single all contributed in the first inning’s scoring barrage.  Typhoons did not stop there by putting up another 15 runs in the second inning.   Overall, Aaron Lee, Parker Shapiro, and Nicky Artman let the team with three hits a piece and Artman led all of the team with 4 RBIs on the day.  

Typhoons starter Troy Cheng only needed to pitch a scoreless inning striking out one while pitching his second game in a row without giving up a hit.  Parker Shapiro and Aaron Lee came in relief for one inning each with Shapiro racking up three strikeouts of his own.  

Next week the Typhoons look to remain undefeated against YMCA (0-2).
