TTBC Eagles Go Undefeated and Are 2023/24 HKLL Junior Champions

TTBC Junior Eagles 5 – 3 Angels

Going into the championship game undefeated, the TTBC Eagles Juniors were victorious over the Angels, winning 5-3 ending their season with a 16-0-1 record.

"It was a great way to finish the season; all of the coaches are so proud of the boys going undefeated and capping it off with a championship," said Coach Victor Gusak. 

The Eagles took an early lead in the second inning when Dev Patel batted in the first run to break the ice. The momentum continued in the third inning as both Roy Son and Khai Harris batted in a run each, giving them a 3-0 lead.

The Angels did manage to comeback and tie the game. However, the Eagles took care of business, with Takeo Blakely leading the way with a run.

Gabe Gusak then followed through driving in another run to take the lead to 5-3.

"Coach Gusak gave me a really good pep talk that really pumped me up", said Gabe Gusak.

Shout out to David Ma, who tipped the momentum in the Eagles favor by going 2 for 2 with two doubles.

"Coach Lem told me to swing as hard as could towards the second baseman - I'm glad I listened him", said David Ma

Harris started the game on the mound; he struck out nine with one earned run. Andes Chai came in as relief, striking out five to get the save.

Hats off to all the coaches and parents who helped the team to all season long.

"The coaches taught me things that I didn't even know that I should know - baseball is life", said Khai Harris

Patriots End Season HKLL Juniors 3rd Place Finisher

TTBC Junior Patriots 11 – 1 Phoenix

Patriots finish with a 8-8-1 record and come 3rd place in HKLL Juniors division.
