On behalf of the directors and coaches of Tai Tam Baseball Club we are happy to announce our Seventh Annual TTBC Fall Classic Baseball Tournament to be held at the Hong Kong International School from September 19-22.
This year we will again adopt an 11 and Under (11U) format. We have six teams confirmed for this event, the Eagles, Typhoons, Sharks, Thunder and Pirates from Tai Tam, and one team from Dongguan.
The tournament will be a round robin tournament with championship and consolation rounds on the final day to ensure maximum baseball for the weekend.
All teams (assuming no rain problems) will play at least four games over three days.
The games will start at 6:30 pm on Thursday and Friday and run until 8:00 pm.
Saturday’s games will begin at 9:00 am and run until 9:30 pm.
Finally, the remaining games, including but not limited to the championship games, will begin at 8:00 am on Sunday and run until 1:00 pm on Sunday.
Following tournament play, we have scheduled an awards at 1:00 pm at the Field.
Adding to the baseball experience we will have the concession stand open on:
Friday, September 20th 4:30 – 8:30pm &
Saturday, September 21st 4:00 – 8:00pm
Girl Scouts will also sell baked goods, candy and lemonade on Saturday from 4-7 pm.
Pizza will be served on Sunday after the games conclude.
We are very excited to host another tournament at HKIS and extend this tradition. We look forward to seeing all of you and enjoying an action packed weekend of baseball.
