The 14U Typhoons had a great time in Singapore despite the rain. They won three games, and came up one run short in two more including a 1-0 loss that was a pitcher’s duel. It was a 40 minute, 3 1/2 inning game that had a total of 1 hit combined across the two teams. The Typhoons were led by strong performances on the mound by a four player rotation who only allowed 10 earned runs in 7 games. Unfortunately, they struggled to get the bats going all weekend. Although the Typhoons didn’t finish as strongly as we would have liked, our players definitely grew closer as a team, strengthened their bonds and had a lot of fun along the way.
